Episode 176: Today I chat with Shahin Zonoozi who is an Austin-based artist. He was actually my first manager at Starbucks when I started years ago. He is now living a new life in Texas, making fabulous art. It was great catching up with him. He is such a refreshing personality and his art reflects it. We talk about selling Ferraris, his inspiration, living in different states, his process, and why he needs to get a website, among other things.
Episode 175: Today I chat with old friend Kristen England. She’s an artist and a new gallery owner. Galeria Pura Vida will be opening very soon in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. Kristen is a born adventurer. We talk about the logistics of opening a gallery, moving to a foreign country, living the good life, and rejection. It is an inspiring episode. I also have new theme music by Corey Knoxville.

Episode 174: Today I chat with Tamar Avishai, the host of The Lonely Palette podcast, where she “returns art history to the masses, one painting at at time.” I really dig Tamar’s show, because it’s insightful, and she really has a way of making it interesting for non-artists. It was great to chat with her!
