I really dig this Run Dog Run painting by Christopher Wool. This is a screenprint. The original was actually a series of paintings. I love the way the text is laid out. He does a lot of these. He’ll put a quote from a movie or book. He lays them out in a way that it could look like different words when you look at it at different angles.

Christopher began incorporating text into his work in the ’80s when he was inspired by common graffiti on the side of a truck that he passed one day. It turned into several successful series for him.
