I really dig this Prosperity painting by Ilaria Ratti. This is actually a an open edition print of the original painting.

I’ve been thinking a lot about prosperity lately. What makes it? What doesn’t? Why are some more so than others? Is it a choice? Just because someone is born less prosperous, does that lock them into a lifestyle that can’t ever be?

Are the prosperous “chosen?” These are rhetorical questions, of course, that I already know the answers to, but it’s always good to question.
