Art Books I Love

I’ve had this book on my coffee table for years. It’s the perfect art resource. I’m still finding pieces I love!

Art is the best way to learn history!

  Start early on your kids!

 An invaluable resource for me.

Not a book, but so inspiring….& true!

Great resource for all things dada!

The subject of John Singer Sargent’s most famous painting was twenty-three-year-old New Orleans Creole Virginie Gautreau, who moved to Paris and quickly became the “it girl” of her day. A relative unknown at the time, Sargent won the commission to paint her; the two must have recognized in each other a like-minded hunger for fame. Really great!!

by artist, Brian Rutenberg. I chatted with him!
