I really dig this Glimpse of Sunlight II painting by Canadian artist Alissa Kim Tjen. It’s acrylic on cardboard. I love the simple complexity of the piece.

She primarily paints landscapes with an abstract flair. She prefers to paint in an impressionistic way, rather than just painting in a representational way. As such, she invites you to participate in her experience of the places she paints.
