I really dig this 3-March 3, 2017 painting by German artist, Anne Borchardt. I just did one of hers recently, but I can’t help it, I just love this one!

It’s watercolor and ink and so abstract. It looks like she used coffee stains an smeared them. [I don’t think she did]. I love how she uses dates for the titles. Not sure the significance.

She does a lot of these inked “sketchy” landscape pieces and they are fabulous. So simple, yet so elegant. Her work has been featured on many commercials and television shows.
