I dig this! It really makes me happy. They look like little pizzas or pinwheels. It is the perfect painting to gaze at after a long, intense day. It just lightens everything up.

Someone said they looked like Francis Bacon’s style. I do think I can see what they are referring to, but with all do respect to Francis…and the Hugh Lane Gallery, I think it is too happy…and pretty to be likened in any way to his work.

Cris creates her art from abstract impressionism to magical figurative, also venturing into the deepest expressionism. She sees art as a way to recycle the soul. A new way of seeing, feeling, doing and living.
