I really dig this Looking for the Rainbow painting by abstract artist, Elyse Abrams. It is acrylic spray paint on watercolor paper.

I love the composition. When I look at it, I see knives…like the plastic knives you use at cookouts…with rainbows on it.

It reminds me that even something as threatening as a knife can be useful and bring some happiness. It brings to mind the dual nature of things. Nothing is ALL bad, or ALL good, for that matter.
