I really dig this Irish Venice photograph, by Czech artist Jenny Rainbow. It’s a part of her Streets of Dublin series. I put this in my Armchair Traveler collection. This is a bridge over the Liffey river, which you may know is where Hugh Lane wanted to build his gallery.
The colors are so vivid. They just pop. The bridge looks aged with texture. And the sky…don’t get me started…looks very painterly. It looks like a very precise painting of the scene.
This is a part of a Limited Edition of only 35 prints. They are signed, titled and numbered on the front side. She processed it with special texture to make it look older.
She says that photography is kind of language which I am speaking to the world and the way to share the beauty of this planet. The language of art is the language of energy which artist with his impression expanding further to the viewers.
Jenny is in the Saatchi gallery. She lives and works in the Prague. If you dig this as much as I do, here is my link to purchase.
