I really dig this Untitled painting by American artist, Jim Harris. He doesn’t seem to title any of his paintings, so he’s actually got several Untitled paintings. This one is oil on wood.

I love the texture, the simplicity and the colors. The geometric shapes on the form reminds me of aboriginal art I’ve seen; which is actually a cool study in and of itself. I did an interview with Australian curator and author, Henry Skerritt, who talked about aboriginal art being more about the process of creating than the actual outcome.
