I really dig this Waterlily 143 painting by contemporary Chinese artist Jingshen You. It’s oil on canvas, and very abstract looking. It’s sort of a modern take on the Monet Waterlilies paintings. He does a lot of these floral landscape pictures.

Jingshen is a self-taught artist. His father was an artist so he followed in his footsteps and has been painting since he was very young.

He loves to use expressive color in his works.
