I really dig this Journey painting by South Korean artist, Jitsup Kim. It’s oil on canvas. It reminds me of a dragonfly. I love the composition, especially the perspective and the focal point. The colors would be next on my list of awesomeness.

Jisup says:

I want to deal with ‘time’. I tried to express the ‘overlapping of time’ that accumulates and accumulates time in life to create self. Many layers of paint are drawn on the canvas, symbolizing the layers of time. The accumulated time gathers on the blank canvas, and the accumulated paint affects the painting. The surface of the work is scratched, and the scratched surface tries to express the external actions experienced while living and the process of finding me. The picture contains emotions, the unconscious, the shape of particles in the imagination, and despair.
