I really dig this Untitled painting by Portuguese artist, Joana Duarte. It’s a mixed media piece. Watercolor, Oil, and Cotton Thread on Canvas, to be precise.

I like its simplicity, yet attention to detail. The green stroke has a shadow. As I look at it more, it seems to be a crocodile!

The UNtitle leaves no context. So I can make up what I want. Sometimes I just want to see abstract shapes, other times I want to see crocodiles. Either way, this painting does not disappoint.
