I really dig this photograph, Red Walls by John Vias. I love it when artists pick unique angles as their focal point. And I love, love, love the colors. The red walls are given prominence by the blue sky in the picture.
John says, This is my homage to American photographer William Eggleston, whose famous Greenwood, Mississippi, 1973 was also of a red room with a bare light bulb and intriguing decor. That’s a surfboard in the corner.
John is in the Saatchi gallery. He lives and works in Berkley, California. If you dig this as much as I do, here is my link to purchase.
