I really dig this Robert painting by German artist, Julia Abele. It’s Robert Smith from the Cure. OMG, so starstruck!

I love the Cure. I love it that this doesn’t look like a fan poster. This is acrylic on canvas. It is a true work of art that could translate to any setting…and it could actually be mistaken for any of the KISS members or even Marilyn Manson at first glance. But for any Cure fan, there is no question.

Julia is a figurative painter. She says she doesn’t have a favorite color. How could she when all the ones she uses are so vibrant? Its hard to pick one, for sure.
