I really dig this Good, Bad, Who Knows painting by Japanese artist, Misako Chida. It’s a lovely composition: a light, happy pink background is invaded by black and red spots.

It’s an interesting observation of situations in life. Things we are generally happy about: a promotion, a relationship: can be flecked with disappointments. Similarly, things we dread; illness, loss, can be sprinkled with grace and joy.
