I really dig this Still-life from the artist’s studio painting by Ondrej Rypacek. I’ve always liked still lifes…and yes that is how it is said. It takes me back to art class, when my art teacher would put together just some random things that happened to be lying around in the classroom and have us draw it. I always liked seeing the outcomes.
Just the idea that anything could be art, even some dusty flowers or pots.
Another still life found in my studio. It’s my jar of brushes and my lemons I use in tea. The stick is added for composition. It splits the three lemons into two groups and adds a straight line into a very round setup.
Art is life, life is art. All art is life as filtered through the artists perception and view of life.
