I really dig this In Bloom painting by Phillippe Laferriere. I love the composition and the abstract “look” of it. The colors are fabulous and I like it that it is small and unimposing. This is an original piece that is perfect to put in a corner or small space.

I had initially thought that the title might be a reference to Nirvana’s In Bloom song, but Phillippe says that it  represents an abstract flower inspired by another name of Zante, fior di levante (Orient’s flower)

Phillipe is in the Saatchi gallery. He lives and works in Greece.
