I really dig this The Other Side of the Mountains painting by US artist, Phillip Shields. This is oil on canvas. It’s so textured and the colors give it a swirly, higher altitude look to it.

I think the concept of “the other side” of the mountain is kind of intriguing. Presumably both sides look about the same. It’s interesting that he points this out.
