I really dig this Standstill Modern Art Limited Edition Print by Israeli artist, Rina Mualem. It’s digital on paper, created in 2015. I think the composition is supercool.
It’s a cube of ice with a guy standing still on it.
She’s interested in dismantling significance formats, keeping the differences among them, and to emphasize the impossibility to watch them in the globally way.
This reduction causes the blindness and emphasizes only the interests of the system, by means of dismantling of acceptable absolute significance’s, with dismantling the imagery from their context, place imagery without inception and ending, by mean of distortion of situations and place them all together without possibility to combine deep significance that drag the absolute preferences.
Her works are inspired by the Austrian author, Peter Handke
Rina is in the Saatchi gallery. She lives and works in Israel. If you dig this as much as I do, here is my link to purchase.
