I really dig this Polaroid painting by Robin Eley. Yes, you read that right. Painting. He does these hyper-realistic paintings which are absolutely unreal.

I especially love this one because it reminds me of another era, when I was much younger and my grandfather had a polaroid cameral that I used to think was just magic.

Robin does all sorts of portraits in this style that could be mistaken for photographs. What a skill to have!!!

Robin is currently represented by Hill Smith Gallery in Australia and 101/exhibit in the United States.
