I really dig this Boat in Esmoriz painting by Portuguese artist, Rai Nunes. It’s acrylic on canvas. It was done in 2020. I love the luscious, vivid colors and the peaceful water scene.

But most of all…I love the texture!

…I take that back…the way he paints so that it looks a little like torn edges…THAT I what I dig the most!

Esmoriz is a city in Portugal. It’s right on the water. So sailing is common there, I would assume.

Rui does a lot of these expressionistic landscape pictures and they are all fab!
