I really dig this Numb painting by Santa Moreno-Gonzalez. It’s watercolor on paper. She does a lot of portraits like these psychological expressionist watercolor portraits.

When personal and social issues pile up, at times a numb feeling takes over to be able to carry on.

I like it that it’s more a concept art than a portrait. So it doesn’t matter if you know who the person is or not. You can still appreciate it.
