I really dig this Two Lemons and a Cup painting by Steven Jorde. Its oil on canvas. I love the expressionist composition and bright textural colors! They seem to play off of each other.

Steven is primarily a plein air impressionist painter but he says; When the weather outside is too cold for plein air, then it’s on to indoor alla prima painting and still life.

Its perfect! It would look so great in my kitchen.
