I really dig this Yellow Bloom 1 painting by English artist, Susanthan Sinnaturai. It is so bright and happy. I was going to say I like the primary colors, except there is green in there too. It’s very striking.

The building is very flat and 2d, while the yellow blooms seem to pop off the canvas. I find the color mix calming.

Sussanthan was born in Sri Lanka and is actually a veterinarian by trade. Thankfully for us he does fabulous art on the side. He does mostly acrylic on canvas to convey his various inspirations. He hopes to bring feelings of calm, comfort and joy, rather than deliver any sort of message.
