I really dig this Lake View painting by Armenian artist, Vahe Yeremyan. It’s oil on canvas. It’s got his signature [what I call] “block” brushstrokes. It’s almost as if he is “building” or constructing these landscapes. It gives them such a unique look that just pops off the page.

Check out how he uses the same technique with different tones of color. Take the sky, for instance. It’s more muted and then with the darker colors, the mountains look 3D.
