I really dig this Yosemite Autumn Reflections painting by US artist, Walter Fahmay. I’ve never been to Yosemite…or even the west coast, so I’m putting together a collection of art that sort takes me to places I’ve never been. This is acrylic on canvas.

I love the scratchy texture of it.

I like this one because it is so abstract that you can appreciate it even if you don’t have any connection to Yosemite. I love the colors…and it most definitely is Yosemite, but you might not guess it without the help of the title.
