I really dig this Rush, float,…hush painting by Ali Cavanaugh. She did it in 2016 for a curated show in the summer. I’m not sure the story behind it, but I love it! It is so lifelike. I just can’t even imagine painting like that.

I can’t help but be reminded a little of the Nirvana cover. It’s a shallow comparison, I know…..and this is SO much better!

It is a watercolor on clay panel. It’s a process she calls modern fresco painting. She lives and works in St. Louis, which I also think is cool.
