I really dig this Purple Waves painting by Russian artist, Alex Ivanov. This is part of a series of purple paintings done in a Gerard Richter. They are all fabulous, but I really like this one because it looks like there are faces in waves.

Alex is a photorealist artist as well as an abstract artist. He is in the Saatchi gallery and lives and works just outside of Moscow. If you dig this as much as I do, here is my link to purchase.
