It’s hard not to look at this and remember a time in your past when things were so much simpler and carefree. That’s what it does for me, anyway, even without the title.

[I think that’s what I am digging so much about art is that it can instantly transport you to another moment in time].

Alex Selkowitz is an artist who is inspired by green spaces among urban sprawl. He starts with a snapshot of a house or landmark. He then sketches it out, breaking it down, using fragments for his compositions.

He calls the resulting image something in between a physical encounter and a memory.
