This is so cool!! Irfan splatters his abstract pieces with calligraphic strokes, which add a whole new dimension to his work.

Irfan Mirza was born in Pakistan and lives in St. Louis, where he is a painter, calligrapher, sculptor and print maker. He is also studying graphic design, at Meramec College, which I have been to!!

Inspired by natural disasters, his work looks chaotic, but has a positivity to it that brings hope to the viewer. He has references to both Eastern and Western traditions to his work.
