I really dig this Broken III photograph, by UK artist, Aine Kelly. There is only one of these. This is black and white photography on paper.

This is a one of a kind, archival silver gelatin print. Shards of broken glass were covered in soot and wax from burning with a candle alluding to the cliché verre technique. Through constant handling and rearrangement of the shards, patterns and textures began to emerge on the glass. Each shard is placed with careful consideration onto light sensitive paper and processed in the darkroom. This series was made whilst in lockdown of Covid-19.

I just think it looks so cool! It’s amazing the way you can manipulate the camera to make abstract art!
