I really dig this Finding Rothko 1 painting by an artist simply known as Anemone. It’s acrylic on canvas. It’s part of a series of 2, inspired by the great Mark Rothko.

I love the color combination. That and the simple square reminds me of something I’d see in Benetton. [Do you remember those? So cool!] …and I love how the middle square looks a little furry.

It’s actually pretty small, so it would fit in nicely anywhere. If I had the means, I could see myself stashing little pieces like this in obscure places, so I’d have constant moments of serendipity.
