I really dig this Blue 37 painting by Christophe Krauss. It’s acrylic, oil and gesso on wood and boy, does it speak to me! It’s got so much going on. I love the texture.

It’s a really good size and I love the cool blues and greens. Not sure what the title means.

Christophe does expressionist with surrealist automatism. i had never heard of that, but it sure sounds cool! Basically, he just creates without plan or intention and something cool like this comes out. I wonder if it always works out like this one…
