I really dig this Pinky, the Brain painting by Crystal Schrader. It reminds me of the cartoon Pinky and the Brain, singing the song Brainstem.

I put that video on my blog, years ago, when I published my book Reptiles on Caffeine, which talks about the brainstem. I thought it was adorable and perfect.

Crystal says, This piece subconsciously tapped into some recent events in my life and ended up looking like a brain. It’s probably the most representative painting I’ve done, however unintentional it may have been!
