I really dig this 2 Fantasy Black Koi sculpture, by multimedia artist, Daniela du Preez. It is made with paper, glue, paintIt is framed, but I might just take them out of the frame and hang them on my wall, so it looks like they are swimming, er crawling up my wall. I think that would look supercool!

This was actually modeled after Daniela’s own tropical fish. She says the daily lives of these animals are so fascinating…

Koi fish are known for their ability to climb rushing streams and waterfalls until they reach their destination. They are determined fighters that do not give up.
