I really dig this Untitled 111 painting by abstract artist, Daniel A du Preez. I like the geometry of the composition. I like the background texture. The colors work great.

The meaning is not clear, so I can create my own. Let’s see, two buildings facing each other…

Daniel says,  I explore layering of colours that are hidden behind the frame almost like a hidden painting within a painting sheepishly asking to be noticed, I also use heavy textured coloured paint in specific areas of the paintings protruding out almost shouting to be noticed, these textured shapes in my mind can represent everything I can imagine.
