I really dig this Dessert painting by Hungarian painter, Dora Stork. I love the colors and the abstract design and I’ve always been a huge fan of dessert.

Dóra calls herself an abstract realistic encaustic artist: abstract in the world of color, realistic in the world of form, and symbolist in meaning. She incorporates politics in her paintings. She is interested in public life as well as social and economic processes. The dreamlike compositions are her intuitive reflections on public issues. At the same time, seemingly astonishing, strange circumstances and inappropriate details on a rational sphere might evoke questions in the viewer.

She says, “I show the details instead of the whole, sort of inviting the viewer to embrace and understand their surroundings.”
