I really dig this The Nibbling of Mice collage by Drager Meurtant. This is an original piece. It is literally cut and pasted. I love that look!
One day he found a carton box with weird superficial pockmarks, He realized that mice had been nibbling at the surface. In true Dada fashion, he cut and re-assembled it with some other found-objects to create this fabulous collage. [See, mice aren’t always bad].
He says that the juxtaposition of different materials may lead to a surreal experience at times, in the eyes of the spectator. Looking at structures, compositions, during the process of creation, I follow the appearence that gradually surfaces, while not keeping to a simple suit of illusions.
Drager is in the Saatchi gallery. He lives and works in the Netherlands.
