I really dig this Untitled 2019 collage by Fred Tomaselli. It reminds me a little of a 60s psychedelic Christmas theme with the peppermint swirls….And I’m always going to be on board with that!

It’s a little confusing because all of his collages are Untitled, but they are all really cool looking. Probably because he uses unusual components to his collages. He used to put actual drugs into his pieces. He would combine crushed up pills with clear resin to create kaleidoscopic collages. How cool is that?

Now his drug of choice is media headlines. It’s probably a lot cheaper.
