I really dig this A Night at the Blackhawk painting by American artist Jim Harris. This is oil on wood. I imagine it is referring to The Blackhawk restaurant in Chicago.

I love it because it is so abstract and geometric. I love the colors, the shapes and I love the textured light blue background on the top half.

Jim is inspired by current and ancient Japanese architecture. H says he always listens to classical music whilst painting.
