I am really digging this painting by Joejene Santos! I love love love the pink and the hieroglyphic looking characters in the background remind me of stuff I learned in grade school.

He says this is a series of works intended to create a pink composition that is about joy, happiness, balance and harmony.

Self-discovery has been a theme of Joejene’s works. He uses his discovery of beauty and wonder of the existence of this life and nature to fuel his creative process. He does this by consciously engaging in and feeling the moment of creation with a sense of joy, wonder and curiosity like a child discovering life.
