I really dig this Minton Tea Cup painting by German artist, Julia Abele. Its acrylic on canvas. I love tea, tea culture, and teacups.

Minton Tea Cup. It’s a very old English brand and as you can see they are pretty expensive. They don’t make them anymore, in fact.

Julia says, this is a still life of my fluted Minton tea cup (c. 1800). I particularly love this cup as it is very thin porcelain and still in good shape despite its age.

She does not have a favorite color. She makes great use of the colors she uses. They look so real!
