I really dig this “>Shelter painting by Japanese artist, Kaoru Shibuta. It is acrylic on cardboard. It is so simple, yet beautiful! Very reminiscent of Kandinsky, who I love.

This piece is called Shelter; I can see tee-pees and structures that look like houses set in an abstracty way.

Kandinsky was a pianist, which shows in his work. Shelter shows the same musicality.

Kaoru says, Sound connects my hearing and sight and colors my heart. I want the viewer to feel like they are listening to music.

Kaoru is in the Saatchi gallery. He lives and works in Kyoto. If you dig this as much as I do, here is my special link to purchase
