I really dig this Water Garden painting by American artist, Kristen Olson Stone. Its an original plein air oil painting. It reminds me very much of Monet’s Waterlilies paintings of his gardens in Giverny. This one was painted at Sherman Gardens in Corona Del Mar, California.

Kristen’s does lots of impressionistic paintings inspired by gardens and coastlines. They are sort of abstracted and her texture is pristine.
