I really dig this Deep Blue painting by German abstract artist Luisa Sassen. I love the colors. The different shades of blues and purples are very intriguing. They form geometric shapes which work really well together.

There is no narrative. The title is ambiguous. So it’s up to me to create some sort of storyline or “explanation” for the piece.

I go back and forth between seeing the side of a mountain with snow on the ground and seeing a row of houses with a flag…
