I really dig this Pomegranate painting by Saatchi artist, Maria Model. I love the bright red color against the textured black background. The pomegranates look lush and juicy.

The stray berries look good enough to eat.

I always imagine fruits as happy…at least they convey a positive and happy mood. This Expressionist painting is no exception.
