I really dig this Neighbor’s Garden 3 painting by mixed media artist, Michael Khripin. It’s acrylic on canvas. It is a floral landscape painting from his neighbor’s garden series. I love the purple. It reminds me of thistles, which are my FAVORITE. I love his abstract, expressive style.

Michael uses many different materials in his work, including acrylic paint, pencils, pastels and even tea and coffee. Through his painting he is trying to let go of critical thinking, letting his subconscious take control.
