I really dig this A Patch of Blue painting by UK artist, Muriel Soriano. I love abstract landscapes and I can totally see a stream surrounded by trees in this pic.

She says, I wanted to see beyond the leaves of the tree, into the wispy air and in the process I found a watery fall of colours. Keeping the feeling of space and air was in the end the most important aspect of this painting.

It takes me to a calm stream where I can just relax and escape from the world.
