I really dig this The Last Man on Earth collage by Peter Beard. Many will recognize the characteristic Francis Bacon images. This was done in 1978, using photos of Francis Bacon during the Dead Elephant interviews. It also uses blood and ink. [How very Bacon-esque]

Peter Beard was a photographer who is known for his images of wildlife in East Africa. He and Bacon were lifelong friends. Bacon actually painted nine portraits of Beard and many others inspired by his facial structure.
